The SoC chip discussed in this paper is based on a CK802 platform. CK802 is C-SKY Company’s independently developed 32-bits processor, which C-SKY Company owns its intellectual property. It is designed for the vendor to estimate security application with CK802 such as Smart Card Application and provides high performance with lower power consumption.The Smart Card Interface (SCI) is an AMBA compliant peripheral connected to the AMBA Advanced Peripheral Bus (APB). This module is a model of an ISO7816 smart card, which can communicate with a smart card reader and carry out data transfers. The clock of Transmit and Receive block is REFCLK while the clock of other blocks is PCLK, Asynchronous FIFO is involved to solve problems of data transfer across CLK domain. The SCI module also takes steps to figure out the problem that the interrupt trigger signal will come across CLK domain. Last but not the least, this module will aslo provide abundant software configurable features controlled by the registers and optimized interrupt source to improve performance.This paper presents a high-speed instruction cache (I-cache) for the acceleration of loading instructions from the on-chip NOR-flash. The capacity of the I-cache is software configurable for different applications. This Flash acceleractor prides some optimized features such as uncached write operation, configurable cache-able region and the capacity of hitting under miss, etc. In addition, it also provides solution for some problems such as the access conflict, etc.In the paper, the verification platform is develped based on the modern verification method. Also, the full features of the CK-CPU development platform have been utilized for the fuctional verification purposes. This paper has also developed the verification strategies and test cases of SCI module, and compreted the futional verification.Finally, this paper finished the logic synthesis for these two module based on the SMIC 55nm library.
