Marshall Mc Luhan,as the pioneer of promoting technology oriented, always think that promoting social progress is not the spread of content in the society, but the contents of science and technology strength. The whole development of Internet fully demonstrated the prophecy of Mc Luhan. As a derivative of Internet technology, the emergence of new media changed the original social information propagation mode,and also received the widespread attention of society. Its powerful technical speeds up the spreed of information,and makes the information content greatly increase. Public opinion is the main power in the mediation of social vitality, with the deepening of the new media,the social public opinion is also gradually close to the new media. With the continuous development of new media technology, new media public opinion arises at the historic moment. In recent years, the "two sessions" has been broadcast live through new media such as micro-blog,which becomes one of the most iconic new media events of public opinion. New media public opinion has gradually become a a way for netizens to express and unleash themselves. At the same time, the national government also attaches great importance to the political functions of the new media public opinion.The emergence of government micro-blog, which connects the authority with ordinary people closely.When the new media continues to play its own strong effect,it also appears some bad aspects such as,information distortion and emotions out of control. The paper starts with relevant concepts of new media, elaborates its nature and characteristics;distinguishes the types of public opinion in new media according to the "five w" mode; and analyses the cause of its problem through the factors such as technology、environment 、subject,and put forwards corresponding intervention strategies based on this.
