| Peng Zigang is a well-known female journalist of Ta Kung Pao in 1930s and 1940s, and she is famous for her news features which excellent in both content and style of writing. Peng Zigang is a soldier and patriot, who strive for national liberation and independence constantly. For a long time, the academia doesn’t lack researches on several famous journalists of Ta Kung Pao, but the study of Peng Zigang’s news practice and contribution is insufficient. This paper puts en eye on the news features of Peng Zigang, which focuses on her news practice and activities. Using literature research method and content analysis method, it tries to sort out her content characteristics and refines her writing skills, and finally summarizes her position in the history of Chinese news reports.The paper includes four parts. The first part is "Introduction", which mainly discusses the research background, purpose and significance, research status and research methods and so on.The second part is to analyze content characteristics of Peng Zigang’s news feature according to the theme and time, and summarize the characteristics of Peng Zigang’s news feature. She is good at finding her own point of entry in the grand narrative of social development. Compared with other journalists, first of all, she is good at investigating living states of women in all walks of life. She always regards women as independent individuals, uses the theme of women and consciousness to reflect the theme of the times. Secondly, she thinks children symbolize the strength of China’s future development, so she pays more attention to children’s fate and growth. Through children’s words and deeds, she wants to show the contradiction of social development. Finally, she tends to focus on the most ordinary people, through the reduction of their daily life? to show the inconstancy of the bottom of society, and gives the deep sympathy and concern.The third part of the paper is to analyze the art of writing of Peng Zigang’s news feature. Through the in-depth interpretation of typical text, it summarizes the aesthetic characteristics. This part is divided into three aspects to carry on the analysis, the first is from the news reports of literary expression, the second is news language personalized highlight and the third is the performance of the various techniques. Through using the reference of a large number of literary writing styles, Peng Zigang is able to keep the timeliness of news content, and the news features can have the power to move the readers with emotions.For the fourth part, it enhances the whole essay by analyzing the historical and professional values of Peng’s news features. Through the analysis of the factors of the times, personal growth factors and the impact of the news inspection system on its features of genre and style, the contribution of the practice of the news style is summarized. The author thinks that her news feature is an organic component of Chinese newspaper feature writing development, and she has a stronger sense of style and conscious pursuit. Her stroke is more skilled and has more distinctive characteristics. |
