Design And Implementation Of Network Library

Current "Library Interlib" system of Ordos Dongsheng City Library have been used for 7 years. The basic function of this system, such as borrowing, returning, bibliography management, can not provide convenient and efficient service for readers on the society, so we are going to develop internet library system again on the basis of original "Library Interlib" system, and we are also going to open the system for readers. Meanwhile, the new system will add some functions open the system to readers, such as online booking function, the recommending function, the function of which can remind readers to return books on time after they login system, also update the basic function of borrowing and returning. The network library can meet the needs of users basically, it can provide to the users achieve modern, intelligent and humane services.After investigation and survey, I designed and developed the Internet Library System based on the current working and developing environment of Ordos Dongsheng City Library. We can provide more convenient services to users, I concluded my research as following:1. The book module add credibility field, in order to achieve incentive management readers borrowing books under control of the field.2. Design and implement functions of reservation online, through the relevant barcode books tag set up to achieve the online booking function.3. Design and implement the books recommendation function, first recording the type of readers, at the same time based on the type of reader bibliographic record match with library books, show the type of books to readers.4. Design and implement the bibliographic expiration reminder functions, by detecting the book reminds mark that sends an alert message to the station within the letter.
