With the expansion of the size of the aging population gradually, the number of unhealthy people is growing rapidly in our country, more and more people need medical services. However, the existing medical conditions in our country can not meet the increasingly large group of patients, we need to use existing technology to improve the existing medical status. In medical monitoring, temperature monitoring is often used for prevention and diagnosis of the disease. But the traditional temperature monitoring often need the nurse to measure with a mercury thermometer and make a record in the field. With the cost of a lot of manpower and time, the value of temperature are also estimated, accuracy is not high. At the same time, the doctor and nurse have a greater risk of being infected.According to the above situation and Wireless Sensor Networks, we designed a real-time temperature monitoring for large-scale group with the technology of ZigBee which is suitable for the hospital scene. The monitoring object is the patient with the disease associated with temperature. The temperature sensor is fixed by a bandage. The temperature collection points transmit temperature data to the coordinator by ZigBee network. The coordinator is connected to the computer for monitoring via a serial port. The computer complete the function of processing, saving and display with the monitoring software. When the temperature is abnormal, the system sends out alarm message and notifies the nurse to verify the situation through the SMS. The system will also inform of the patient’s family about the patient’s physiological in the form of Email.After an overall planning of the system, the design process is divided into hardware design and software design.In the hardware design, the paper chooses CC2530 as the core chip of the ZigBee network node, which is produced by TI. The power supply is provided by the mean of battery, USB interface or JTAG interface. The temperature sensor is DS18B20, which is designed with a digital single bus. The screen chooses the OLED screen, which type is SSD1306 and 0.96 inches. The part of software design includes the design of three kinds of network nodes in the lower layer and the design of computer monitoring software in the higher layer. The software development platform in the lower layer is a combination of the IAR Embedded Workbench IDE and Z-2007 protocol Stack, which are developed by IAR and TI.The stack realizes the whole node program design by API of every layer. The development environment of monitoring software is made up of My Eclipse 8.6, MySQL 5.5 and JDK 1.7.0. The monitoring software implements a serial port communication, graphics, alarming, text messaging, personnel information management and other functions with the help of the rich class library of Java language.Finally, we take a test about the precision of temperature sensor, communication performance of the wireless ZigBee network and the function of the computer software, proving that the system can satisfy the practical application and the operation of the ZigBee network and computer software is stable and reliable through the analysis of the test results of the temperature.When the temperature value goes beyond the normal range, the system responds immediately, which achieved the goal that we expect. Through the system, we can accurately collect the temperature on a large scale, which benefits the prevention and treatment of disease, decreases the cost of medical service, improves the quality of service, and reduces the risk of medical staff infected at the same time.
