Due to the wireless network coverage features, the complex wireless environment and mobility of mobile users, there are uncontrollable factors to a certain extant for user network experience. In the current white-hot market competition, It is critical to improve and to protect the ISP(internet service provider)’s reputation by means of effectively solving bad user experience and accurately dealing with network problem in time. Optimization is one of the most important maintenance works to ensure the network running in the best shape, the quality of the optimization will be directly related to the quality of the network and the user experience.At present, the main work of WCDMA network optimization is still using a traditional optimization methods, the adjustment range is generally limited to the WCDMA access network(UTRAN), main adjustment work is just focus on RNC and Node B. Network optimization is make the coverage of mobile network signal stay in a good level, in order to ensure the quality of wireless access success rate, sustainable performence and interoperability success rate, multi carrier feature content optimizations. Its purpose lies in optimization of network environment, resources and equipment to improve the network performance index(KPI),to enhancing the mobile user perception. With the development of network services, mobile network is also gradually transforming from simple calls and SMS business to a diversified mobile data services. The work style of the traditional network optimization that only focusing on network problem itself appears to be falling behind and the innovation on network optimizing is extremely urgent now.Fortunately, the analysis approach applied End-to-End architecture, brought the fresh contents and ideas to make up for the traditional network adjustment work which lacks of the users and service providers data. Setting up a new network optimizing system which based on End-to-End Analysis to advance the optimization works. the effects are obvious and active in practical works of network optimization. And a new user perception system that built to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the optimizing work is not only independent of KPI system, but also echoing each other. Technicians can provide a more rigorous and accurate data basis for the next step of optimization, so that the network optimization work become more targeted and more realistic for users’ perception in order to make the switch.The establishment and application of end to end optimization system improves the traditional optimization methods, which are mainly embodied as follows: 1) The DT test data of intensification and expansion advantages in that MR data helps testers to enter the area where testers are not able to reach to conduct network quality assessment. It leads to obtain more network coverage data effectively in order to provide more extensive basis for further optimization and adjustment; 2) For core network parameter adjustment and wireless network hardware / parameters adjustment to provides extremely large data bases including the user side, network side and service(SP) side of the data. Comparing with monotonic KPI date, it is obviously advantageous to customize optimization adjustment plan more quickly and accurately; 3) It has solved the limitation of analyzing work in terms of the equipment problem through careful assessment made on the performance of the equipment; 4) Achieving a new way of jointing optimization with the service providers gives intuitive efficiency increases to optimizing work of guaranteeing users’ perception.The paper is surrounded by WCDMA optimization work mode. It is not only Presents the process and outcome of optimization of practical problem of WCDMA network, but also compares the traditional optimization with End-to-End optimization of problem solving approach.
