The Management And Application Technology Of RFID Reader Under Active IOT

With the development of RFID technology on Internet of things, it’s applications also have been getting promotion and the various types of RFID reader devices appears in different application fields. For commercial and technical considerations or historical reasons, the functions,the interfaces and the application of the environment of reader shave obvious differences; even in the same application, due to the upgrading of equipment, a variety of different readers are used to complete the same function; these problems need a application system to build a software platform to support heterogeneous hardware. Because of the differences of hardware interfaces, the user must develop on the individual interface of each manufacturer’s node, that has increased the difficulty and the complexity of the program development. Not as mentioned above, with RFID technology applications on Internet of things continuing to expand, the types and ranges of applications have being more and more bigger. In the process, the duplication of software development and the wasting of the human and material resources exist. Obviously, the differences of multi reader products unified by the single equipment manufacturers or users is not realistic. The standardization work is mainly concentrated in the IEEE802.15.4, ZigBee, IEEE and Sensor Web 1451 specification, but the standardization work of researches on the IOT reader interface is seldom being carried on.In order to realize the centralized management of the different types of RFID reader, designing and developing configurable active reader technology is an effective way to solve the diversification of RFID devices.According to the above requirements, this paper proposes an active RFID IOT reader management technology. It is a part of the management based on IOT automatic identification and as a further research of the clothing channel platform in RFID reader management of my laboratory. "Active" is from the concept of active in the active network. This management can be customized for the processing system, deploys the code directly to the system, and put the system into use. The active RFID reader management technology is supposed to control heterogeneous reader actively and add a new heterogeneous RFID reader; it makes unified management and allocation of the RFID reader based on its own definition standard on the RFID interfaces, and add reader classes and RFID tag classes actively, and configure different readers, and select the RFID encoding standards. In reality, it can be used as a students’learning and experimental platform. It provides a new solution in the management of heterogeneous RFID readers; at the same time, it’s more convenient and more reliable to pick up information in the management of RFID readers, so as to improve the work efficiency, reduce operating costs.
