Radio Frequency Identification System RFID is a contactless automatic identification, which is consist of the tag reader and a large number of tags. A reader communicates with the label with a unique identification number and information to identify the object. Tags are attached to objects to be identified .Because it is out of sign communications, and able to work under harsh environment, support the same time to identify. Therefore, RFID identification system, compared with other advantages do exist.This article analyzes and studies the two major categories of anti-collision algorithm, and gives concrete realization of anti-collision process. Basing on ISO / IEC 18000-6 Type C protocol, the paper designes a 915MHZ RFID reader, including the hardware design and software design.Not efficient tag identification the conflict of label brought is one of the most important thing in RFID technology. Therefore, this article discusses a variety of RFID anti-collision algorithms.And the different standards used in the anti-collision algorithmes are analyzed and compared. Class 1 Generation 2 UHF RFID 860 MHz -960 MHz communication protocols is based on dynamic frame slotted ALOHA algorithm. In this paper, the process of the dynamic frame slotted ALOHA algorithm is analyzed and studied .The hardware design of RFID reader ,is made up of the digital baseband module and RF transmitter and receiver module. Digital baseband module selects ARM7 LPC2114 as the CPU, being responsible for the control and communications. FPGA EP2C5Q208 is responsible for FM0 decoding and encoding for PIE. Radio transmitter module emploies ASK modulation, the receiver module emploies the zero-IF techniques.The software design of RFID reader includes analysis, design and verification. Introduces FPGA EP2C5Q208 PIE encoding, FM0 decoding and SPI interface programming. Similarly, based on ARM7 LPC2114 UART serial communication and SPI serial communication program design process are given.
