With the fast development of network and intelligent, video surveillance system is currently in the third stage.At the same time, there is an urgent need for the video surveillance system of the mobile devices,this thesis designs and implements a video surveillance system based on Android using OWSP protocol in this connection.Firstly, the development status and trend of video surveillance system, the structure and characteristics of Android system are described in this thesis; Secondly, this thesis introduces the relevant technology about software development of video surveillance system,including Including the OWSP transmission protocol, H.264 video format standard, FFmpeg decoding library, and the application of JNI technology; Then, the realization of the Android mobile phone video surveillance system client software is analyzed and design in detail; Finally, according to the various functional modules of the video surveillance software, the thesis designs detailed UI interface layout and function implementation.After testing, The video surveillance system software on Android mobile phone can run fluently, it also achieve the targets of real-time video monitoring, multi-channel picture playback, electronic amplification, intercom function. This video surveillance which is suitable for various places.What’s more it has already been using in our daily life.
