Research And Implementation Of HD Video Monitoring System Based On Android

As an integral part of the Internet of things, video surveillance is developing rapidly with the development of wireless network technology and streaming media technology. And the development of embedded technology makes the video surveillance move toward the direction of mobile. Embedded Web Server which has features of low cost and highly versatile injected fresh blood into the video surveillance system. Video surveillance based on embedded mobile terminal devices and wireless network has become a hot field of research. In this paper, we design an Android-based HD video surveillance system.First this article by Android platform, video codec technology, as well as streaming protocol into the in-depth study, carried out a detailed analysis of the open source library FFmpeg and Nginx. And completed the task of the transplantation of FFmpeg and Nginx from Linux platform to Android platform.Based on the above basis, the paper design and completed an Android-based video surveillance system, the system uses IP cameras as video resources, uses H.264 as the video codec standard, uses a combination of B/S structure and C/S structure as the implementation of video surveillance client. The video surveillance client not only can recive and play the video stream from the IP cameras but also can watch the video and control the PTZ from browser through the embedded web server and HLS protocol and ONVIF protocol.This article finally use the real machine equipped with Android operating system to verify the system realized by the ariticle. We mainly test the fluency and time delay and control performance of the video surveillance client. The results show that the system basically meets the real-time video streaming in wireless LAN transmission.
