With the coverage of 3G,4G network and the popularity of smart mobile devices, mobile video surveillance has quickly become a research focus. The majority of traditional video surveillance systems using RTP/RTSP protocol for video data transmission and quality control, that led to the independence between video transmission protocol and video device control protocol. Those systems have the problems of large software and hardware resources required, high bandwidth requirements, implement difficulty. It’s not suitable to use in the mobile video surveillance systems directly which has smaller resources. Furthermore,The existing technology has the problems of depend on special equipment, limited surveillance area,not free to set the resolution, large delay, real-time differential and other issues.For the lack of traditional remote video surveillance system, this paper analysis the demands of mobile client, study deeply of the relevant video transmission,processing technologies and develop technology which based on iOS platform for mobile client software. Using Open Wireless Surveillance Protocol (OWSP) which has special information structures to put the video information, video capture device control information, and other information fusion in the same packet to transport; transplanting an open source framework---FFmpeg on iOS operating system, using H.264 standard for processing of video streams; using SPS information to implement the adaptive resolution of mobile devices; using mobile networks to set video transmission and device control in the mobile surveillance software which based on the iOS.Implementing the functions of surveillance video preview, field device control, video channel switching, cloud server storage, saved device history record locally and so on. After the experiment of different iPhone devices and various types of mobile networks, the results show that:the mobile video surveillance software can effectively improve the performance of mobile video surveillance system, with short networking time, fast the control response, low bandwidth require and resolution adaptive, real-time video play smooth etc, as well as easy to use, fully functional, high stability, high commercial value. |
