Orderly development of electric power industry and efficient operation of grid is necessary for people to work, study and daily life. Dispatching is the centre of the grid operation. In the existing scheduling management system, the national electric power company director of the national grid dispatching work, the county level and above grid management enterprises competent jurisdiction grid dispatching work, and grid management enterprises at all levels have set up corresponding grid dispatching institutions. Nowadays realizing the informazation of electric power system becomes the inevitable trend of electric power industry development. To ensure grid running in security, economy and high quality, to ensure the accurate, reliable and efficient implementation of grid dispatchling, the design and implementation of assessment grid dispatching ability system have great value in engineering application. Assessing the application of grid dispatching ability system can maintain each transformer in the best working state, improve the service life of equipments, reduce equipment failure rate and the power loss of the equipment operation, improve the reliability of grid operation and the level of grid dispatching.According to the safety and reliability of the grid dispatching problem, it needs to test dispatching system operations in the real-time monitoring of grid dispatching ability and make the right dispatching decisions. In view of the above problems, through the study of related assessment algorithm, apply the results to system platform, then complete the entire design and implementation of assessment grid dispatching system. The main contents are as follows:(1) Combine with the practical operation of Jiangsu electric power system, put forwards the demand of assessment to grid dispatching ability. Mainly analyzed the assessment system of the overall design framework and functional module.(2) In view of the demand of the content involved, design a method of assessing the grid dispatching ability, compare variety of algorithms, and study the most effective research and design of the algorithm.(3) By real-time detecting data from transformer, the voltage, the active power, the reactive power, and above research results of the algorithm is analyzed. Use relevant software development tools for system, further solve the problems in the process of system development, then realize the high precision assessment of grid dispatching system.
