Electric Power is the vital energy source in national product and people daily lifeso the importance of electric power production and transmission is beyond question. Asthe link between electric power production and transmission, electric power dispatchingdecides the effective and healthy operation of the whole electric net. The automationand intelligenization of eletric power dispatching is a longtime task deserving thoroughresearch. However, at present the electric power automation system served mostly forelectric power production foreground while the background dispatching and productionmanagement work lack of complete technology support. Those problems how toharmorize the foreground control and background management in electric powerproduction process, to construct a organic and uniform comprehensive intelligentsystem, to form perfect and smooth data stream and finally realize the integration andstandardization of production plan, production process and improve the electric netmanagement quality became burning problems.With the development of electric net scale, the number of stations increased, thedata size of electric system increased sharply and the difficutly of data analysis andmanagement also increased. At the same time, besides the electric power dispatchingdepartment, other relevant departments and management organization also haveinterests on the electric data. Thus those aspects that how to analyze and process thehuge mass of electric net operation data, to ensure the safe and efficient implementationof electric power production and at the same time to provide policy support for electricproduction and dispatching are the important research direction for electric powerinformation system.The thesis based on the thorough analysis of present domestic electric powerdispatching management system situation, made use of advanced IT technologies suchas data mining and SOA, designed and realized a electric power dispatchingmanagement system based on data mining. Firstly the thesis made the requirementanalyses for total electric power dispatching management system, put emphasis onelectric equipment coding, data requirement and business requirements, then used SOA technology to design of system structure and data platform and designed the mainfunctional module dispatching management subsystem, production analysis subsystemand video monitoring subsystem. Secondly system realization was described, in whichthe electric power load forecasting algorithm based on data mining was explained. Therealization of critical service modules including realization of system login module,database visiting module and transformer load inquiration Web service module. Finallythe thesis described system testing, introduced testing environment and testingpreparation, gave design for testing examples and put forward testing conclusion.The electric power dispatching system based on data mining realized in this thesiswas totally deployed and finished and after half a year testing operation, the system runin good condition and contributed to the development of business quality of enterprise.
