The power industry is one of the foundations of national economy. This industry requires huge investment with a long-term cost recovery period and a profit cycle. And so how to improve the economy of power grid construction and running, control the costs reasonably, and achieve sustainable development have become one of the most significant targets of power grid enterprises currently.This paper has discussed and built the Investment Ability Analysis System for Power Grid Enterprises, which includes analysis of investment returns and investment scale of power grid enterprises. The main objective of this system is to suggest that the company’s largest investment scale and reasonable scale of investment by effective and reasonable data which are provided by analyzing enterprise profitability and cost requirements, estimating the level of annual profits/financing/debt levels, and assessing payback period and ROI. And these models pre-estimate corresponding index data within the company proposed annual changes, consider the time value of money, evaluating the long-term impacting on the company’s business indicators in the life cycle by annual investment.This paper has Carried out detailed comparative analysis of the pros and cons of the various technology In the system design and implementation process. Based on the chosen the optimal design of the Oracle Partition Table/the GUID main key strategy/EJB/MyBatis and etc., we constructed the data mark and Universal Data Access Module, and researched&developed the Index Model/Data Model/Computational Model/Scale of Investment Calculation Analysis Module/Fund Balance Modules and etc. of investment capability analysis.The system has been put into application in a grid enterprise successfully and achieved good results, because it has reduced the workload of reducing the data acquisition, manual calculation and reporting, and provided decision support on the grid investment planning.
