Optical Access Network (OAN) system consists of a series of transmission entities existing between Service Node Interface (SNI) and User Network Interface (UNI). Because it applies the advanced technology, also has the abundant interface and favorable expansibility, AN system has been becoming the main service mode of railway communication system. On the contrary, due to the demand in modernization and informatization of railway rapid development, the necessity in centralized control of railway transportation safety, and the market requirement of China Tietong common communication network, more and more earlier railway communication system becomes unadapted and is beginning to transform into optical OAN system.Basing on railway demands, this dissertation firstly states the problems of application and construction existing in earlier railway communication system. Also, the optical OAN system and its common network modes in railway communication are analyzed. Then, the characteristic and advantage of the main interface of the optical OAN system are introduced in details. The possibility of the non-interrupt working technology, which adapts the construction of railway communication, is discussed. Moreover, after full consideration of the application characteristic of the railway communication system and the optical OAN system, the key working technologies and methods for the cut-over of the optical OAN system in replacement of the outdated system for railway communication are put forward here on the basis of the actual project construction experience. Examples, coming from the actual project practice, are given in details to testify the reasonability and advantage of the above presented working technologies and methods. The results show that the working technologies and methods can benefit the future construction of the optical OAN system in railway communication, and can work as a good reference. On researching of both theoretical knowledge and actual project practice of AN system, this dissertation First abstracts and forms the key technologies and methods from the former practice, and then put the technologies and methods into actual project practice inversely. The results show the achievement and the application value of the technologies and methods, which can act as the instruction and guidance, or as a reference for the coming OAN system projects.
