Research About The Construction Of Hagnzhou Population’s Media And The Quality Of Life Under The Media Society

Under the background of aging population, the existing pension mode has a certain gap in the quantity and quality of the elderly with the normal pension needs. In addition to the government, social organizations, pension institutions and community efforts, the elderly also need to start from their own efforts to improve themselves and respond to aging actively. In this paper, we combine the two major trends of the media and the aging of population; use the quality of the media as a breakthrough point, through the study of media literacy to explore ways of improving the elderly themselves. Meanwhile, in response to the construction goal of the Hangzhou city of life quality, we try to build a system of media and the quality of life of the elderly.Firstly, through the definition of quality of life, media literacy, defined the connotation of the quality of life of the elderly. Drawing on the experience of the Domestic and International Quality of Life Assessment System, the Chinese Society of Medical Association and evaluation system of the Hangzhou city of life quality, try to build the evaluation system and indicators of life about the elderly. Secondly, through questionnaires, investigating 50 years old(inclusive)-60 years old middle-aged elderly and aged 60(or more) older people in Hangzhou city about media literacy(mainly about the media contacts, media use and media analysis) and the satisfaction of the media used. SPSS software is to analyze questionnaire’s reliability. Fisher discriminant method is to determine the level of media literacy and the quality of life.Through analysis, media literacy levels have a close relationship with age, level of education, occupation and income. And someone who has the high media literacy, he is more satisfied to the media life. That is means he has a high media life quality.
