The Use Of New Media And The Traditional Way Of Life Of The Mosuo People's Changes

Small water village is located in Ninglang County Yongning township of Yunnan Province,is one of the original Lugu Lake Mosuo villages.In the process of long time development,With its unique geographical location,the village has formed a unique life style which is different from the mainstream society.In recent years,with the development of the tourism industry and the growing popularity of mass media,information from the outside world long penetration,the village young Mosuo people's material life and spiritual life have changed.In this paper,based on field investigation and literature research,investigated and analysed the usage of new media,and the continuance and change of the Mosuo people's traditional life style and idea.Study found that the impact of new media on the Mosuo people's material and spiritual life main reflected in the influence on the material life,the impact of Mosuo people's spiritual life like religion,inheriting system is less direct and obvious.With the popularity of new media,part of the Mosuo people's religious beliefs have been strengthened,the holiday custom also on the basis of the original more abundant,and involves the Mosuo matriarchal system is the core of life just as some customs gradually change gradually,but have not changed fundamentally.
