Inventory management is not only an important partof the supply chain management, but also a hot issue of many enterprises. Inventory management reflects the scientific merits of the company, it is an important factor for affecting the competitiveness of the enterprise market. When the inventory is too high, even though it can meet customer demand orders, inventory-related operating costs are too high but will occupy the company’s lot of liquidity; rather easily out when the inventory is too low, it cannot be shipped to customers which leads tobringthe enterprise a certain loss of interest. Therefore, a reasonable inventory management strategy is to guarantee the supply of every businesstimely, and it is an important way to reduce inventory costs, directly affect the enterprise’s operating performance.In this paper, the problems of inventory management in the supply chain of bags manufacturing enterprises are analyzed, and the virtual inventory management strategy of supply chain is studied, and compared with the related research at home and abroad. The inventory management system is developed, which is based on the inventory management system, which is a useful exploration and practice in the distribution network inventory management technology.This paper mainly includes three parts. In the first part, we introducethe related theory of inventory management, analyze the characteristics and production process of luggage manufacturing enterprise, mainly explore its operation status, and study the current situation and problems of inventory management. In the second part, in order to reduce the product inventory and the total cost of transportation, the virtual inventory optimization strategy for the luggage manufacturing enterprises and the national distribution network is proposed, which is shown below. Firstly, to the standard bags, the two-level inventory optimization model between one distribution center and multi-vendors in each distribution area of the enterprise’s distribution network is established to reduce the total inventory cost and improve inventory turnover rate in the distribution network. We obtain the optimal order quantity and order quantity when the random requirement meets the certain degree of customer satisfaction. Finally, the genetic algorithm is used to solve the problem, and we use related data to verify the proposed model. Second, for the luggage enterprises, the non-fully customized products is gradually becoming the industry trend, the amount of customized bags is rising in many places. We put forward the non-fully customized luggage delivery model based on the situation which the non-fully customized luggage and standard bags of semi product inventory can be transformed to each other. In the third part, wepropose the inventory management system. First of all, we analysis the demand of the distribution system inventory management, analyze the business process of the distribution system, and design the overall framework of the system. Secondly, we design each sub function modules, including the description of each module and the detailed design procedure. At last, we developand realizethe system, and do the test for the system.
