With the globalization of supply chain operations, the logistics industry has developed in an extraordinary high-speed. But most of enterprises do not pay enough attention on this area which cause supply chain inefficiencies and cost increases. Due to the significance of the supply chain which link both supplier and purchaser, supply chain structures are reasonable directly determines the efficiency. As an important part in supply chain, distribution directly affect enterprises’competitiveness in market. The location of distribution center and the optimization of distribution routing should be concerned in distibution process, and they are playing essential roles in how to program them effectively for supply chain. In addition, researchs on distribution optimization not only have commercial value, but also have realistic meaning. Therefore, this paper studies the distribution optimization under the enviroment of supply chain and makes corresponding improvement methods.In this paper, the study is mainly focus on the distribution optimization. The location of distribution center and the optimization of distribution routing are both nonlinear programing problem which make the study complex and complicated. The paper firstly introduce the background of supply chain and supply chain management in present situation, which followed by the analysis of logistics and distribution-related issues. The concept and classification of the location of distribution center and the optimization of distribution routing are also illustrated. Secondly, establish the distribution center location model and the distribution routing optimization model which based on principle of distribution optimization minimum cost. Then, according to the company’s situation,genetic algorithm and immune optimization algorithm are selected to solve the model problem according to the enterprise actual situation. Matlab7.1is used in this research for the two models’ simulation in oder to analyze and discuss the strength and weakness of each solution method. The study ultimately determine the practical significance of the application of genetic algorithm and immune optimization algorithm on location of distribution center and the optimization of distribution routing. In this foundation, the paper can provide a frame of reference for future distribution optimization under supply chain environment. The present study which addressed in this paper bring out a feasible and scientific method for distribution optimization under the precondition of ensuring minimum cost principle during the process. Meanwhile, considering the the company’s situation, the study takes the cost of damage and the cost of temperature control into account for reality modeling as well. With analog simulation, the paper concludes the optimal solution for location of distribution center and the optimization of distribution routing, and defines the advantages of genetic algorithm and immune optimization algorithm in solving relevant problem.
