Nowadays, the level of the science and technology improves continuously, medical facilities become more and more perfect; our country is becoming aging society also. In 2013, elderly population over the age of 60 will be more than 200 million in China.From 2013 to 2033,the average elderly population groups at 10 million a year, the elderly population will be a peak 483 million by 2050,the proportion reached34.1%.The number accounts for 1/5 of Asia’s elderly population and 1/4 in total. There are over 200 million elderly people which are over the age of 60 in our country, in 20 year’s time, annual increased elderly people will be 10 million, the elderly population size will be 483 million by 2050,the proportion reached 34.1% share of the elderly population in Asia 1/5 and 1/4 in the world. According to international standards, we are the aged society. Wireless sensor network based on ZigBee provides a model to resolve the social issue. In view of the actual situation that the data of medical monitoring network is little and the network is strict to timeliness, we need to consider of low-cost, energy-saving, and size of network when we select a technology. Compared with other wireless communication techniques, ZigBee is most suitable for remote medical monitoring.This study constructs the whole image transmission system, uses serial camera to collect information in the old man’s living environment. This system gets through RS232 data processing module to transmit data to the ARM processor and then the ARM UART module pass the data to ZigBee routing nodes, eventually it reaches the ZigBee wireless transmission center through the ZigBee network nodes. It displays image data finally back into the original after processing, which transfers data to PC using the connection between the PC with the RS232 module. The image data of this study can dock with the existing home endowment system database for storage that can enrich the data. During the development process, this design completes the hypogyny machine program’s design and the implementation of the PC software. The camera image information acquisition mainly use the serial port based on VC0706 chip during the development process about the Lower computer. Lower computer system uses serial camera based on VC0706 to collect image information, ARM development board based on S3C44B0X to divide image information into many data packages, ZigBee modules based on CC2530 to construct wireless network for data transfer. Upper computer system uses VC6.0 and ADS 1.2 to develop program, realizes serial communication and.original image display.This research has been carried on the simulation test, when the interface in PC sends the instruction to the camera to take pictures, it can accurately collect images in the camera interface for display, which’s size is 11.9 KB and resolution is 320*240,the clarity and timeliness can meet the requirements, it has certain practical application value.
