In this paper, as a logical starting point, combing the Chinese government in the process of governance changes in the publishing industry development history and current status of the characteristics of in-depth analysis of the governance in the publishing industry in the development of the existing problems and their causes, and based on this, try to propose appropriate Suggestions.This paper consists of four parts:Introduction to point out some of the major research background and significance, research status, research methods and innovation at the shortcomings; the first chapter based on concepts and theories used elaborate on By describing the historical changes and the realities of governance of China’s publishing industry, summed up the characteristics of the current governance of China’s publishing industry; second chapter from the allocation of resources, the publishing unit, four aspects of governance and public demand elaborated government publication The main problem of governance that exist in the industry, and noted that undue emphasis on ideology property, transformation of government functions is not complete, the legal publishing industry, construction delays and the lack of effective governance and supervision is the main reason for these problems; the third chapter attempts to follow the systematic principle, taking into account the principle of effectiveness, under the scientific principle and the principle of fairness premise, establish the correct values from government functions homing and build a new governance model put forward three suggestions.
