The Internet is affecting and changing our lives. Network provides us not only asource of access to information, but also an interactive space. The E-government systemfor the public is providing a two-way platform of choice for the Government and thecitizens.Government’s information technology is an important part of construction of theEconomic information. With the computer technology and information technologycontinues to develop, in particular the Internet popularity of technology, a globalinformation society is gradually formed, in order to meet the development of theadministrative modernization under the new Environment. Countries in the world havebeen included the E-government into its political agenda.The purpose of this paper is to design and implement a WEB-based e-governmentsystem for the public. Visitors can easily navigate all kinds of information in the homepage. This paper also introduces the ASP, SQL Server, B/S, E-government knowledge,also detail the public WEB-based e-Government System In detail. Web site is a WEBapplication designed byIn this system, we used B/S mode, ASP as its script languages and SQL Server forthe database. This departure from the application, Optimize the overall design andoptimization of the overall site performance. This paper discusses the problems and thesolutions which will meet in the process of the E-government system for the publicfrom Database design, ASP programming, business logic, Maintenance Operation, etc.
