The quality of the optical chirp technology is directly impact the goods delivery, quality and cost. With the rapid growth of 40G long distance optical device market, optical chirp need to ramp up the capacity. The existing technology cannot meet the needs of market. F Company must reform the current optical chirp assembly technology if company wants to win in the market. Project program control and quality control are two core theories of project management. To coordinate and mobilize resources for mutual cooperation, improve the progress and efficiency, this can promote the progress of project. The quality is likely to affect both progress and customer satisfaction. Good quality is the life of company. The reasonable and appropriate quality control method will let product have good quality and meet the reliability requirement. And provide high quality and low cost products for customers.In this paper, to use project management theory on the optical chirp process technology reform project of F Company as the research object. The object will be divided into two sub projects. One is the die bonding process reform project and another one is the wire bonding process reform project. This paper on the project progress control and quality control are studied. In the DFB chirp technology renovation project gives the project schedule and work breakdown structure, tasks and estimation duration. Discuss the progress monitoring and adjustment of the project. Discuss the man, machine, material, method, environment, measurement and information control in this project. To use SPC, Plato, Doe quality tooling to analysis data and do experiments to check the result during the process verification. The optical chirp process reform project must guarantee the quality and then study the application of project management theory.
