Research Of Remote Monitoring Alarm System Based On Android Platform

With the improvement of people’s living standards, people’s security awareness is growing. Video surveillance system as an important part of the security system in people’s daily lives becomes more and more popular. Video surveillance system was originally mainly used in large venues, supermarkets, crowded roads and other public places over the past years. With the concept of home security is more and more accepted by people, home video surveillance system is developing very rapidly. With the rapid development of communication technology and information processing technology, application-based remote video surveillance system for mobile platforms is rapidly expanding.As android system have many advantages among the current mobile intelligent terminal operating system, we develop the remote monitoring alarm system based on Android platform in this paper. The system can paly the monitoring scene in the remote network camera, at the same time, the system has motion detection function..This paper mainly completed the work of the following aspects:(1)Comparative Study of monitoring data transfer protocolIn the system development process, we first analyze some relevant theoretical knowledge and select monitoring data transmission protocol to meet the system requirement.(2)Comparative Study and Improvement of motion detection algorithmThe system can take move detection with the monitor screen captured by the network camera. If there is a moving target detected, the system can send a short message to the telephone number pre-set or send an email to the pre-set mailbox. We use improved background subtraction method to detect the moving target in this paper.(3)Analytical and palybak of remote monitoring dataThe system developed in this paper can analyze and play the remote monitoring data in real time. The clarity of the monitoring picture can meet users demand. Peopleusing this system can have a good viewing experience.(4)Design and implementation of Android alarm moduleThe system has move detection function, if a moving target is detected in the monitoring screen, the system developed on the Android platform will send a short message or email to the pre-set number. The alarm mode can be set by the system users themselves.
