Data Acquisition System Design For Tractor Static Pressure Test Stand Based On LabVIEW

China is a large agricultural country, in order to improve the income level of rural areas and enhance China’s comprehensive economic strength, in recent years, the government has been promoting agriculture automation, intelligent, modernization. As a common agricultural machine, Tractor rollover events are occurred occasionally when it works in the field. The purpose of static pressure test is to minimize the likelihood of injury when the tractor rollover accident caused during normal operation by the driver. This test can detect the intensity of the tractor and protective devices connected to the bracket and the strength exerted by the load on the bearing device may affect those tractor parts, so that make protective devices that meet international standards to ensure the safety of operating personnel in the operation.This test includes two parts:mechanical and electrical. Test unit consists of a mechanical frame parts, hydraulic cylinders, testing and control system, and computer and so on. This article is part of the test done on the computer system design and trial, namely, data acquisition system design for tractor static pressure test stand.Data acquisition system for tractor static pressure test stand is mainly used for data acquisition and processing of tractor cab static testing process. The system can automatically measure and record the pressure on the tractor cab, the deformation, the applied energy and other parameters. When Loaded Energy or crushed force reaches the preset value, hydraulic cylinder will stop automatically, the loading test or crushing test will also stop automatically, then we use the control button to make the hydraulic cylinder movement. The system consists of pressure sensors, displacement sensors, tension sensors, temperature sensors, Advantech PCI-1710 data acquisition card and industrial control computer.We used the United States NI company Lab VIEW virtual instrument development platform to design the data acquisition system. The Lab VIEW is user-friendly, full-featured, including data acquisition module, the relevant information input module, clear diagram module, data playback module and data storage modules. The system used Advantech PCI-1710 data acquisition card to collect sensor signal and convert it into intuitive physical quantities, and display, and store data according to the requirements.After completing the system, we made a small RC charge and discharge circuit and used a single sensor to generate voltage signal of 0-10volt, then we use the system to simulate and collect data. We got good test results. The results show that:the data acquisition system can be well completed the goal, and the entire system is stable, easy to use and achieve the function of data acquisition automatic during tractor static pressure test process.
