The distribution of contact pressure and temperature measure system plays avery important role in many fields, such as medical rehabilitation, sports research, etc al. The system can measure and display the distribution of the pressure andtemperature about the contact surface. In this paper, three new sensor arrays based on silicone rubber have beenstudied, and the sensor signal acquisition system consists of four main parts, whichare flexible senor array, signal acquisition circuit, data acquisition card and signalacquisition and analysis program based on LabVIEW software. The principle of the acquisition system is explanted from the analysis of thehardware design, software design, testing laboratory. The main work andachievement as follows:1. The flexible pressure sensor array, the temperature sensory array and theeflexible composite sensor array are designed based on the carbon conductivematerial using the interdigital electrode structure, and the principle of the sensorsare analyzed.2. The signal acquisition circuit is designed and fabricated for the sensorarrays. It can collect the data and connect the PC through USB2080data acquisitioncard.3. Compile the data acquisition process which is based on LabVIEW software. It has functions like system registry, parameter selection, signal processing, signaldisplay, saves and queries data, alarm and records etc al.4. The distribution of the pressure and temperature are tested by the flexiblepressure array, flexible temperature sensor array and flexible composite sensorarray. The experimental results prove the correctness and reliability about thedesign of the system.
