The Design And Development Of Information Management System For Communities In Rural Area

Since the reform and opening-up, the Chinese government makes great effort in developing the national economy and actively improving the living conditions of the people, especially with the current urban-rural integration, the development of new rural construction and maturing. Accelerating the pace of modernization and promoting information technology in rural communities become the focus of government work.However, China is the world’s largest agricultural country with a rural population of 700 million, Almost as 54% of the total population. Most of them live in rural areas all their life which makes rural communities become the main type of society. Meanwhile, due to the deterioration of the urban environment, more and more people are tend to buy a house and live in rural areas for pension. Hence how to build a new rural community become a serious problem:on the one hand, traditional rural residential area as an important place for daily living can’t meet the people’s needs of housing including requirements such as "safe, comfortable and convenient", and its degree of information has drawn more attention; on the other hand, theory and practice with regard to information technology in rural communities are far behind the urban communities in academic research which has seriously affected the information technology development in rural communities.Based on the analysis of domestic community information system, combining the characteristics of China’s rural communities, drawing on the experience of the current information construction of urban community, we-aim to build a comprehensive new rural community information system, this paper mainly carried out the theory and practice research in the following aspects:(1)We have studied the current construction situation of community information system both at home and abroad, and compared the urban and rural situation in china as well.(2)We described the basic concepts and constituent elements of Intelligent Community, and a detailed analysis of the characteristics of the rural community was given. On this basis, we focusing on the theory of intelligent residential construction and related supporting technology.(3)With the guidance of software engineering, we made a needs analysis for rural intelligence community information management system, and designed the function modules according to the basic configuration of the current rural intelligent community. Including:household management, financial management, security information management, service management, and system management.(4)Finally, on the basis of comparing advantages and disadvantages of various design options, we determined the system’s design according to the actual conditions and the functional needs of information management system for rural Intelligent Community, established the overall architecture of the system, function modules, database design, and accomplished some of the management functions.In a word, this paper has a certain theoretical and practical significance to carry out the conduct of current information technology in rural areas...
