China’s transformer industry in China occupies an important role in the field of power equipment manufacturing [1]. Development of economic globalization, facing the competition both at home and abroad, especially the area along the "cooperation development concept gradually practice, makes the transformer industry urgently need to be able to integrate the information such as research and development design, production tools, in order to enhance their business competitiveness. Product life cycle management is in recent years, the rise of product information resources of the enterprise management ideas and tools effectively. A product life cycle management is the enterprise business strategy, it shall, in accordance with the product from the effective organization enterprise intellectual resources, develop and implement product centered management behavior to products as the center of the business process, and as a means to improve the technical ability, cooperation ability of enterprises [2]. Based on the existing Teamcenter product whole life cycle management system, through the analysis of the actual demand of transformer industry and business processes, and integrating the concept of product life cycle management, design and implementation of a product lifecycle management system for transformer industry.Electric facilities manufacturing industry is the modernization of the electricity torrent an important part [1], where the design and manufacture of transformer equipment plays an important role. With the global economy collaborative development, especially in the face of domestic and foreign competition gradually practice, and "along the way" philosophy of cooperation and development, transformer design and manufacturing company urgently needed a design to integrate product development, product manufacturing and other production stage enterprise information management tools to enhance their core competencies. Product Lifecycle Management an efficient product-centric management thinking, but also an enterprise to its product information resources to integrate information technology tools. For businesses, product lifecycle management can be a competitive product strategy that product-centric, from product design to mass production, the enterprise intellectual resources and effective organization, in accordance with product data-centric business information implementation, and ultimately enhance technical collaboration R & D and design departments [2].
