In the process of rapid development of access network, due to the traditional telecom business, commercial users and market needing, fixed network operators between competition significantly increased; solid network operator and the traditional fixed network operators are actively expanding broadband business. Operators have developed a variety of multimedia services and value-added services, but this also brings the user bandwidth demand for substantial growth.Network services in the development process, network requires in terms of rate, content, quality and safety are relatively strong extension ability and the ability to control. Due to communication access network in the transformation of part of the strategy is changing, the telecom operators will access project from copper line network to the optical network, and it is through the early stages to achieve progressive of optical fiber communication operators of broadband access network and eventually to realize the fiber to the home (fiber to the home, FTTH).Passive optical network (PON), it is point to multi point optical fiber in the network technology, which is mainly composed by the user in terms of the optical network unit (ONU), room main optical line terminal (OLT) and the communication signal in the optical distribution network (ODN). "Passive" is refers to, without any power electrical and any power, all the optical splitter device etc. without access to power the device components in the communication access network, optical distribution network of ODN.This paper focuses on the analysis of the FTTx mode multiple implementations. Starting from the 1990s began to popular ADSL, to PON+PBX networking scheme, PON+ wireless AP network scheme, optical fiber transceiver cable access, switch PON+, PON+FTTB, again to final PON+FTTH a network with access scheme. In addition, through the detailed analysis of the above, it is more consistent with the actual project construction program.
