FTTX Based On The Engineering Design And Application Of Scene Study

From the beginning of 2008, all major domestic fixed network operators are announcing the start of" copper retreat into the light" development strategy, i.e. shortening network copper cable length, the optical fiber extends further to users, through the construction of FTTX (fiber to somewhere) gradually replace traditional copper cable access network in the dry line, feeder section, divided the current line and a line segment, with copper as the main transmission medium access network evolution to optical fiber as transmission medium of broadband optical access network, finally realizes the FTTH (fiber to the home).This paper introduces the PON technology, PON technology principle and application, the author of the PON network construction planning and design experience, summed up the FTTB and FTTH overall design principles, and puts forward the different scenarios of FTTB construction mode selection scheme and construction scheme for FTTH, operators in PON network construction to provide effective suggestions for reference, promote China's PON network deployment process, increase the network capacity.
