The Internet has covered all over the world after 40 years’growing since its adventure. The wireless network technology is increasingly perfectly with the fulfillment of Wi-Fi technology. Now the WLAN (Wireless Local Area network) has been supported by most of the computers, cell phones and other smart devices, even become an indispensable function.WLAN’s application scope has growing increasingly in people’s daily life and workspace. It becomes more and more import about how to management and configuration the AP (Access Point) in the WLAN system, so is how to provide centralized control to ease the network management task. The enterprise level’s WLAN is generally built on the structure of AC (Access Controller)+Fit AP (AP without management function). The AC is responsible to manage all the APs that has connected to it. There are two different common methods to centralize manage all the APs by AC. The first method is realized by a network management station communicate with AC by SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). The other methods is by the AC’s command line interface. This paper addresses the centralized management methods of the WLAN in order to add some function to configurating WLAN system’s security and operation parameters by SNMP or AC command line interface. Firstly, introduced the background knowledge of WLAN system and project background information. Secondly, described the overall analysis about how to configurating the WLAN’s parameters in the networking mode of AC+ Fit AP, and then show the requirement analysis, the module design and the system test result. At the end of the paper is the summary and outlook for the whole work.
