With the information age, social, economic and technological development, people need to work easy and fast life, access to network information, which requires operators of wireless broadband network layout (WLAN), the flexibility to provide wireless network access to users business. As the rapid growth of WLAN business, increasing expansion of the network size, WLAN systems and types of equipment, increasing the number, complexity and maintenance costs continue to increase, and the network structure more complex, more and more dispersed distribution of network nodes. Therefore, the current WLAN network management and maintenance very serious challenges facing the urgent need for centralized management. WLAN centralized network management OPENGOSS system precisely to meet the above requirements introduced, which provides centralized management of these equipment and maintenance, to meet the demand for integrated network managementThis paper, based on SNMP protocol and MIB library's basic principles, combined with Beijing Unicom WLAN network configuration and the opening of business profile, and based on the concept of TMN, the introduction OPENGOSS WLAN system for a centralized network management. OPENGOSS proposal of building a WEB-oriented, and based on open standards, cooperative integrated network management system architecture; OPENGOSS telecommunications software platform used to follow the data center, WEB design principles for the platform to achieve business layer and data layer and display layer separation.OPENGOSS technology built in a large-scale distributed network management software platform that offers several core telecom network management software functions framework to achieve, including topology management, configuration management, performance management, alarm management. Network management system using distributed software architecture, including network management system server, and network management client. The system can provide equipment manufacturer's switch and the AP operational configuration management, performance management and fault management providing many features to fully satisfy the operation of the network management and maintenance needs, greatly improving the efficiency.
