With the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, people’s safety consciousness is becoming more and more strong.Therefore, it is great significance to improve the level of safety technology.Along with the development of the computer technology, embedded technology, video coding technology, wireless transmission technology, the wireless video monitoring system become intelligent, digital and networked.Based on the 3g, wireless local area network(LAN), such as the establishment of the network, provides favorable conditions for wireless video transmission.The wireless network streaming can refrain from poor geographical location, the high cost of wiring.Therefore,it has very important significance to research the wireless video monitoring system based on CMOS image sensor.This topic is used S3C6410 microprocessor as the front end, through S3C6410OV9650 chip microprocessor control of video acquisition, the acquisition of video data using ARM1176- JZFS built-in hardware coding Unit VPU(Vector Permutate Unit, video processing Unit) for h. 264 hardware compression, and then in the link layer to establish PPP(Point to Point Protocol, point-to-point Protocol) link, the Transport layer use UDP(User Datagram Protocol, User Datagram Protocol), the application layer using RTP(Real- time Transport Protocol, real-time Transport Protocol) to packaging of video streams,finally through the wireless network to transmit the video data and in the mobile client,according to the real-time playback and in emergencies to remind users.This design mainly includes the video monitor hardware part and software part.Hardware part mainly includes the microprocessor module, peripheral extension module(USB interface circuit, serial interface circuit, etc.), video acquisition module, the design and implementation of the wireless data transmission module.Video monitoring system software part mainly includes the design and implementation of server side software and client software.Server sidesoftware design is to build the server side software platform and realize video collection and video transmission on this platform.This design by testing can stable to transmit the acquisition of video image from video monitoring front-end to video terminals steadily, users can use 3g or Wifi network receive real-time alarm information and watch the monitor image on mobile phone client,so as to get real-time monitoring information promptly and efficiently, achieve real-time security monitoring.By experimental test and data analysis, this design can meet the demand of video monitoring, verify the feasibility of the design.
