In this paper,the mechanical structure of the laser communication instrument was designed.The finite element analysis of the turntable was done using ANSYS,the results of the static characteristics satisfied the requirements of strength and stiffness.The results of dynamic characteristics satisfied the requirements of resonance.Secondly,the kinematics and dynamic model for tracking turntable were created,and the equations for the two models were derived.The dynamics of the azimuth shafting and pitch shafting in two-dimensional tracking turntable were analyzed using the dynamics simulation software ADAMS.The output torque of the motor were got when the two shafting are with rocking motion and uniform motion respectively.The coupled motion of which output torque curve are obtained by loading three groups of functions on the two shafting.Then the interaction relationship of the two shafting was found by analyzing the drive motor of which output torque curve in different situations. The results can provide reference for the selection of the motor and some suggestions for designing and optimizing the physical prototype of the turntable.Finally,dynamic assembly simulation was simulated simply according to the virtual assembly environment of CATIA.The assembly path and assembly sequence were optimized,and the interference detection was planned at the same time.This results provides reference for actual assembly of laser communication instrument.
