With the continuous development of manufacture enterprises, its product information is also becoming increasingly complex, in the product whole lifecycle, it’s a key for the manufacture enterprises to share the knowledge of the product by consistent representation and description; In addition, RFID technology can obtain the relevant information of the product in real time and be able to solve the core issues, such as the low identification probability, poor real-time performance and accuracy; Moreover, the meta-modeling method can effectively solve the problems of the semantic representation of mechatronics products and product-related information integration.Combined with the practical business requirements of the manufacture enterprise in Gui Zhou, a product information model is prospered under the framework of the product lifecycle and applied to the warehouse business of the enterprise.Firstly, the meta-modeling method was used to construct a product information model for the product lifecycle, including the product design information meta-model, product manufacture information meta-model and product service information meta-model, as well as the product warehouse information meta-model throughout the product entire lifecycle.Secondly, according to the scientific need for product warehouse operations, this essay adopted RFID technology and Web services technology, at the same time, fixed RFID readers and mobile handsets is used for product data acquisition, which achieve the collection of the underlying data efficiently and accurately with the form of wireless communication.Thirdly, according to the actual demand for the product warehouse business, this essay adopted structured analysis and object-oriented technology and successfully developed a product warehouse information management system for the product lifecycle, as a result, the development of Web services platform, in/out channels and RFID handheld PDA terminal was realized, meanwhile, the implementation of the trigger in the system and the RFID identification probability were introduced briefly.The product information model constructed in this paper was successfully applied to the company’s finished-parts products storage business, which greatly improved the accuracy and timeliness of information storage products, besides, it also provided some value for the manufacturers to design and implement RFID systems.
