RFID is the abbreviation of Radio Frequency Identification,it is a kind of automaticidentification technology. RFID communicate with the bidirectional data by way of wirelessradio frequency,recognize the object and obtain the target information。At present, RFIDtechnology is in the golden period of development and application at home and abroad.Andthe development of handheld devices is getting more and more attention.The RFID systemconsists of electronic tags, readers and computer network, and the key equipment toinfluence the properties of tag identification is the RFID reader. In addition, for the handheldRFID reader, using portability and wireless transmission performance of data is an importantindex that can not be ignored. So the performance index of handheld reader is of greatsignificance for RFID system to work efficiently and reliably. therefore,the study for thehandheld reader is of great significance.This paper developed a UHF RFID handheld reader based on R2000, designed thehardware circuit of handheld reader,writed the embedded and application layer software codeof handheld reader. This paper has the following innovation points and key technology:First,according to the modular design thought,the reader was divided into the radio frequencyboard and the control board in this design,the using flexibility of reader was greatly improved.Second,For the handheld reader of developed in this paper,the UHF RFID reader warehousemanagement system over a long distance was designed,so the value of the practicalapplication of this design was realized.Third, this paper introduced the key technologies ofRFID transmission and receiving system in detail.And the actual simulation and in-depthanalysis was carried on.In this paper, main work is:The introduction part of this article analyzed the purpose andsignificance of this research, introduced in detail the basic concepts of RFID and the systemstructure, basic principle and application development. Then the problems of RFID wasintroduced in detail.Then the second chapter introduced ISO18000-6C protocolstandard,including the protocol overview, tag memory and state, reader command and tagresponse. And the structure and principle of RF receiving and transmitting system waselaborated in detail. The main work in the paper is in the third and fourth chapter. The third chapterintroduces the design of RF circuit reader, gives the hardware structure diagram and thebriefly circuit implementation, including the design and application of RF chip, Directionalcoupler, power amplifier, barron converter, power detection chip, the design of the digitalbaseband processing circuit and the communication mode of RF circuit. And the controlcommand and the response packet of RF board is analysised in detail.The fourth chapterintroduces the design of hardware circuit of control board, including the selection anddesign of the main controller, wireless transmission chip, LCD display, power supply circuit.In addition, this chapter introduces in detail each modules. The fifth chapter analyzes thecommand of control board and the response packet of radio board,introduces the keytechnology of software design, including the embedded operating system uC/OS–II,uCGUIgraphics support system and the software design structure of control panel, introduces themain task in software design and gives the design flow chart.The sixth chapter introduces the implementation of the warehouse management system,designes five big function modules for storage system using ASP.NET technology, designesthe structure of a database table using the Microsoft SQL Server technology. this chapter alsoexplains in detail the implementation process of the storage system management platform.inthe end, the test plan for the software and hardware of the reader system is gave in theseventh chapter, and the improvement scheme of this design is proposed,laying thefoundationfor the optimization design.
