In the supply chain, a warehouse is a crucial component for linking all chain parties. It is necessary to track the real time resource location and status to support warehouse operations effectively. Therefore, RFID technology has been adopted to facilitate the collection and sharing of data in a warehouse environment. However, an essential decision should be made on the type of RFID tags the warehouse managers should adopt, because it is very important to implement RFID tags that work in warehouse environment. As a result, the warehouse resources will be easily tracked and accurately located which will improve the visibility of warehouse operations, enhance the productivity and reduce the operation costs of the warehouse. Therefore, it is crucial to evaluate the reading performance of all types of RFID tags in a warehouse environment in order to choose the most appropriate RFID tags which will enhance the operational efficiency of a warehouse. Reading performance of active and passive RFID tags have been evaluated before while, semi-passive RFID tag, which is battery-assisted with greater sensitivity than passive tags and cheaper than active tags, has been examined yet in a warehouse environment.Today, technology is RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) forms one of the most promising market segments information technologies. The popularity is due to RFID capabilities which open up the technology for supply chain management a specialty all, it is more efficient management of business processes and reduce costs control traffic.Accordingly, the aim is to study the feasibility of using RFID technology in warehouse management. To achieve this goal were set in the respective tasks. The main objective was to describe the concept of warehouse management, its main features and areas. The work was allocated the challenges and problems of warehouse management, and analyzed possible solutions to these problems for companies. Also had the task of the main information technology, already used companies to solve existing problem. In the second chapter was to highlight the essence of the technology RFID. Briefly describing the technology RFID, we can say that this is a small electronic tag which consists of microprocessor and a small antenna, which is attached to the pallet, box or a separate product and has a unique identifier for the type of "Plate", the electronic product code. Above all, the technology is a unique tool for monitoring product, which has a significant advantage over the common system of bar coding. One important task was to consider RFID technology from different angles, highlight both the advantages and disadvantages of this system. It was necessary to analyze how to use these advantages can solve problems WMS. In order to accurately represent the scope of RFID, in the work were identified areas of warehouse management, where it can be used in this technology. Comparing the problems existing in the WMS with the advantages of technology, at the end of the thesis, it was concluded that the introduction of the appropriateness RFID technology to improve efficiency the warehouse. Also had an important mandate to create a convenient tool to assess prospects of implementation of RFID technology in the department of warehousing the client company. As a result, the layout should be designed process maps for companies seeking to adopt at its warehouse RFID-system. Thus, if the first two chapters are devoted to academic study of the topic and they will consider most of the theoretical aspects, the third chapter is completely practical one. It examines the supply chain in a separate company, which begins with the arrival of goods at the warehouse and ends with its shipping. In this the work has not only theoretical but also practical significance.Due to the fact that the subject of a fairly new, especially to Kazakhstan, where about RFID technology is just beginning to find out information about the subject in mainly concentrated in the English-language articles. The only book published on Russian about RFID technology in early 2009 is used as theoretical framework in this paper. The complexity of the search for literature added that the recently published set of promotional articles advancing technology RFID. Therefore, the choice was on the articles of expert sources and foreign literature.
