Revolution From Print To Digital Media- Research On The Interactive Design Of Electronic Books

Developments and changes of the media have a great influence on people’s way of reading. Writing and printing changed the oral history, while the rise of the mobile Internet and the popularity of handheld mobile devices make the people’s way of reading a new revolution. Picture books integrate content and media in this tide of history, a new form of picture book come out-- the electronic books. It blends animation, sound,interactive and other aspects of the elements by means of the electronic equipment innate advantages, to create a new reading experience completely different from paper picture books. In essence, this reading experience due to the interactive of electronic picture books.In this paper I will study the electronic picture books interactive design, including the interaction of electronic picture books, the gameplay produced by the interactive behavior, the new relationship of pictures and text, the new narrative method and other aspects. Analyze the interactive design of electronic picture books on the market, and sum up my own e-book development experience, thus to discuss how to design the interaction of electronic picture books that to maximize the advantage of mobile platform and not to damage the original excellent characteristics of the traditional books, this study attempts to provide significant experience and design method to those designer of electronic picture books.
