The Design And Development Of Picture Books Based On Augmented Reality

Books have played a key role in the process of human cognition in the world for thousands of years.As an important enlightenment tool for children's cognitive world,children's picture story books have always been accompanied as good teachers and helpful friends in the process of children's growth.Picture story books have gone through a century of development and improvement.They have shown very important educational value for children's language ability,intelligence and aesthetic consciousness in the development stage,and have played a key role in the formation of correct cultural values and world outlook.However,traditional picture story books are an important way for children to recognize the world,and they mainly focus on language ability and mathematical logic ability in the cultivation of children's intellectual ability,which is not conducive to children's overall and personalized development;at the same time,with the emergence of new digital media,traditional picture story books began to gradually lose all the attractiveness for children.Therefore,a picture story book based on augmented reality came into being.Combining augmented reality technology with traditional picture story books,based on the preservation of all the advantages of traditional picture story books,it can be opened up for paper books by means of augmented reality technology.A window leading to infinite possibilities provides a new way for the cultivation of children's multiple intelligences,and creates a new way of thinking for children's rich imagination and creativity.In this research,through the literature research,the status of the development of existing virtual reality books at home and abroad was analyzed,and the enormous educational value of picture story books based on augmented reality was clarified.At the same time,based on the research status of augmented reality books at home and abroad,attempts were made to explore the picture story books based on augmented reality design and development process.Finally,a case study was conducted to demonstrate the complete design and development process ofaugmented reality picture story books based on the production of original augmented reality picture story books,and to further modify and improve the corresponding design and development process.Through constant attempts and explorations of theory and practice,the author first explained the great potential of augmented reality picture story books in the cultivation of children's multiple intelligences and the application strategies for their use.Second,the author initially organized the general design and development of augmented reality picture story books.The process has summarized the corresponding design principles and major steps.Finally,the author independently completed the production of the original augmented reality picture story book A Lonely Fox,from the drawing of illustrations and the compilation of stories to the design and development of mobile software.And completely showing all the major parts of an augmented reality picture story books design and development process.The original augmented reality picture story book A Lonely Fox which presents the charm of a paper book,can realize the perfect fusion of paper books and mobile software,and basically fulfills the theoretical requirements for augmented reality picture story books.Finally,a summary of theoretical combing and design development was carried out,which fully considered and reflected on the deficiencies in the research process,and provided a preliminary perspective on the future development prospects of the Augmented Reality Picture Storybook,expressing the infinite promise of a beautiful future story for the augmented reality picture books.
