This design will divide the graphic description of parts into three parts:the graphics topology, geometry graphics parameters and these geometry parameters and graphics of the link between the parameters; graphic information will be recorded in the database, with a variable record of the geometric graphics Parameters; geting records required by the design of all relevant data through the positioning of a particular set of data. This design technology is suitable for such as Car-Bract has established the design of the standard parts and product structure design of a series of stereotypes.Based on in-depth study of the parameters design ideas and methods, on the basis of a Car-Bracet parametric design as the core, based on focusing on the Pro/E products Parametric the whole model of CAD system established, associated with the Pro/E secondary development Technology and database interface technology, and product parameters of the CAD system development steps and introduced the system of research and development and implementation process. Its main contents are as follows:(1) Car-Bracet of SUPEX type selection, development tools and operating environment,proposed the whole design programme.(2) In the Pro/E environment establishing Car-bracet common standards and pieces of the model and design integration into the knowledge of each model, to achieve the design rules, experience, standards and model parameters of the combination of drive mechanisms. (3) Research GS model based on the knowledge database creation and management technology. Use SQL Server to establish Car-bracet parts and components designed the knowledge database, and realize inheritance and reuse of the design knowledge.(4) Pro/E secondary development and interface technology research and application.(5) in VC++6.0 development environment, using ODBC as a data access interface, and realize Pro/E users to access the SQL Server database, to focus on managing the various data of Car-bracet.(6) using VC++6.0 and Pro/TOOLKIT secondary development's tools to prepare the application system interface and develop system's user interface.
