Radar signal processing platform is an important part of high-speed and real-time signal processing system, widely used in high speed radar signal processing. In this paper, based on the DSP + FPGA architecture, we design and achieve a radar signal processing board system with high real-time performance,reliability, high-speed performance, stability,and in a low power consumption.In this paper, based on the design specifications and programs, radar signal processing board is designed. The overall results conclude architecture using FPGA + multi-core DSP. FPGA using Xilinx Kintex-7 family of high-performance devices. DSP using TI KeyStone Series 8 approved floating point DSP called TMS320C6678. FPGA is used to complete the system power control, clock and peripheral equipment management, AD data acquisition and data pre-processing, radar timing generation, communication interface extension and external high-speed interface implementation. DSP is responsible for system management and back-end data processing and information processing work. The article focuses on the core of the DSP common peripherals and interface design. We not only complete the work of the DSP BOOT loader, but also implement fast transfer of large data between DSP and FPGA. In the course of the research process about DSP memory space rationalize allocation, we obtain the common storage optimization methods. About FPGA design and implementation, we discusses in detail the design of the system clock and peripheral device managemen, data preprocessing algorithm. Based on SRIO protocol architecture, high-speed interconnect from FPGA to DSP is implement using SRIO. Finally summarizes some problems and open up the process on the system power-up, initialization, open up the data link.Radar signal processing board system design of this project has the following characteristics, a high-speed,high performance, stability and high reliability. It can be widely used in radar signal processing, weather radar, missilesand other navigational radar signal areas. Engineering of the project implementation, also has enormous practical commercial value.
