Research Into How Mobile-internet Format Influences Metropolis Newspaper In China

The development of mobile-internet has caused great influences on metropolis newspaper in China. Under the influence of mobile-internet, the audience of metropolis newspaper constantly losing and the overall sales of metropolis newspaper constantly declining. The majority of metropolis newspaper in China are facing the serious difficulties about survival and development in present.Therefore, analyzing the influence of mobile-internet on Chinese metropolis newspaper has important theoretical and practical significance for the transformation of metropolis newspaper in the new era. For these reasons, the dissertation will take the influence of mobile-internet on Chinese metropolis newspaper as the research object and take literature research, case analysis, questionnaire investigation and interview as the main research methods. Firstly, the living environment of metropolis newspaper in the context of mobile-internet will be introduced, then the changes of the product forms of metropolis newspaper, the changes of production mode and development mode of metropolis newspaper will be analyzed in-depth. A comprehensive and systematic analysis about metropolis newspaper’s current situation and development trend under the background of mobile-internet will be presented.The first part of the dissertation is the introduction part,which will expound the research status, research significance, research ideas and main research methods of the selected topic.Through collecting and analyzing related literature, it can be found that the majority of literature pays more attention to the influence of the network media on newspaper industry.However, there are rarely studies on how mobile-internet effect the metropolis newspaper. Although there are some related literature on this topic, they more focus on one aspect, not analyze the topic from a comprehensive and systematic perspective.In the second part, the dissertation will study metropolis newspaper’s living environment under the background of mobile-internet in China from four aspects which are technical environment, policy environment, industrial environment and audience environment. This part will lay the foundation background for analyzing the influence of mobile-Internet on metropolis newspaper in the following parts.The third part will mainly analyze the change of metropolis newspaper’s product forms under the background of mobile-internet, including wap-site, mobile phone newspaper, official microblogging, wechat, mobile app,two-dimensional code and cloud newspaper.The fourth part of this dissertation will systematically study the changes of metropolis newspaper production mode under the background of mobile internet, which includes the changes of news sources,the changes of editing mode and the changes of reporters and editors’ daily work.In the fifth chapter,the dissertation will mainly analyze the changes of the development mode of metroplolis newspaper.Specifically, it will point out the disadvantages of the “information services and value-added services” development mode which applied by the majority of metropolis newspaper in China currently at first. Then, it will suggest that the metropolis newspaper should follow a new mode which is "information services and value-added services platform" mode in the mobile-internet era, a brief analysis of the new mode will be presented in the end of this part.At the end of the dissertation, the author will summarize the full text and expound the innovation of this research.
