Research Of Charging Mode Of Newspaper Web Sites And Mobile Terminals

The essence of profit model reconstruction of the newspaper is to find new content carrier for the newspaper, and to explore how to obtain revenue on the new carrier . This article focuses on newspaper's profit model exploration on web sites and mobile devices.In the literature review, the author reviews the academic points of view of traditional charging model of newspapers, the theory of media evolution etc.,and summarizes the existing academic study of the strengths and weaknesses of media sites.This text is divided into four parts.The first part, the popularity of new media and the resulting plight of newspapers are discussed. The rapid spread and penetration of the Internet give online media a wider coverage of people; along with the time spend on internet by Internet users and viscous Internet is growing, internet become one of the major access of media news information. The rapid development of Internet media challenges survival and development of newspapers, magazines, television and other traditional media.Newspaper circulation and advertising revenue continued to decline, the pace of the transfering of digital media is accelerated.The second part focuses on the attempts of Chinese and foreign newspapers'website profit model. Traditional newspapers, many had become a vassal of large portals, the site has achieved most of the traditional resources with very low price. This section summarizes the problems faced by the newspaper Web site fees:lack of awareness of the network user fees; charging system instability can lead to deposition of loyal subscribers; high homogeneity of news content lead to the users'low willingness to pay; the search engines privide news for free; network pay has a certain threshold.In the third part , exploration of the newspaper's profit model in the mobile Internet era is discussed, mainly research the profitability of the newspaper APP,mobile news is also analyzed.The fourth section discusses the application status and viability of micro-payment model.Finally, the article concludes, newspaper sites can only build successful charging system with its own exclusive, valuable content. On mobile terminals,"original,free content ,advertising" combination is more feasible.
