Study On IMS End-to-end Network Quality And User Perception

With the development of the communications market, IMS has become one of the core of network operators, and its user base and market demand are growing. But the IMS network is mainly based on IP bearer, its link uncontrollable and "best effort" service mode transmission are greatly influencing network quality and user perception. So, how can we associte the IMS network quality with the user perception,and establish an effective IMS end- user perception evaluation method has become an urgent demand to resolve the issue.Firstly, it starts from the IMS network structure, analyzes the current IMS network quality and user perception of the situation. For problems of the existing network, analysis and comparison of several methods to assess the quality of the IMS network and user perception, and then propose a perceptual evaluation KQI network optimization based on quality and user scenarios, 1) Construction of IMS signaling process evaluation parameters, optimization and upgrading to-end signaling connection success rate and reduce business failures caused by the use of user perception problem; 2) build IMS voice quality assessment parameters optimized to enhance end voice quality, reduce call quality problems caused by poor user perception.
