With the quickly development of modern industry, more and more manufacturing enterprises focused their attention on the lower production costs, in order to improve the market competitiveness. Storage is an important part of the enterprise logistics system, an efficient cargo handling in storage will directly affect the efficiency of enterprise logistics system, thus affecting the company’s production costs. In the way of traditional transportation work, it generally adopts artificial or half artificial transportation way, this method usually leads to the higher investment in equipment and personnel, the lower utilization rate, and there are some security risks. Therefore, we need to design a device to instead of manual for efficient handling operation, improve and upgrade the intellectualization and modernization level of the traditional transportation way, thus achieve the goal of reduce the production cost. After needs analysis and research, the article designs and develops of a Warehouse Trolley, realized the function of automated handling and Smartphone control by taking the smart car as experimental platform. The system not only relates to the hardware development, but also relates to the software development. Through the comparison of a variety of hardware and software development platform, Arduino platform and Android platform are strong coupling and in accordance with the current trend. Therefore, this system is developed of the two open source platform based on Arduino&Android. Among them, building hardware circuit and designing Arduino gateway software is based on Arduino technology, and the mobile phone client communication software is based on Android application development technology. The communication interface between Arduino hardware and Android software is selected with Bluetooth wireless communication technology, which is standard unified, reliable safety and high rate of market share.After establishing a serial communication link of Bluetooth between the hardware and software, the user only needs to send commands using mobile phone to control the Arduino hardware circuit and drive each function module. The Arduino hardware circuit is mainly completed the following functions: Automatic tracking, Trolley Avoidance, Automatic handling, Display and so on. The Android mobile communication software is mainly completed the following functions: Bluetooth device searching and matching, communication link establishing, monitoring data showing, saving and clearing etc.After testing, the system is stability, shortcut when establishing communication link, convenient operation, the hardware circuit of quick response, and realizing the intelligent handling of goods.
