Smoke Alarm System Based On Arduino&Android

Intelligent Home Furnishing system research content more,aiming at the development demand of the intelligent Home Furnishing,designed and developed a set of affordable,simple structure of the home intelligent smoke alarm system,to achieve the alarm threshold setting and the function of control system.The system includes two parts: hardware design and application software development.After comparing various hardware and software development platform,the coupling between Arduino platform and Android platform,and has the advantages of open source,design and development so we choose Arduino&Android the two open source platform for smoke alarm system.The design includes the establishment of Arduino hardware circuit and the development of Arduino gateway software,as well as the development of Bluetooth communication software for mobile client with Android platform.Arduino hardware and Android mobile terminal connection is successful,the user can send commands to control the Arduino hardware circuit modules.Arduino hardware circuit will collect the data,through Bluetooth transmission to the Android mobile client application,and display the detected data on the phone.The system used the current popular Arduino development hardware system,which has the characteristics of easy development,simple and quick,convenient communication.The hardware circuit of Arduino mainly completes the real-time monitoring of indoor temperature and humidity and indoor smoke concentration,the display and switching of the working mode of the system,the setting mode of threshold value and the preset music playback.Mobile phone Bluetooth serial communication software is mainly to complete the Bluetooth device search,pairing,connection,send instructions,display monitoring data,empty monitoring data,disconnect,exit Bluetooth serial communication software functions.After debugging,optimization,and ultimately to achieve the purpose of the system design.Compared with other smoke alarm system,this design has the features of simple operation,low cost,stable function,reliable safety and so on.In the development trend of Bluetooth technology and WIFI technology,this paper establishes the foundation for the expansion and future development of the system.
