At present, phone-based games is a large part of the daily application of those mobile phone users. There are now two main types of phone-based games:one is single game and the other is online game based on a mobile network operator. Now, however, such kind of phone-based games can not satisfy the players' demand totally. Users can not really enjoy them. Bluetooth, a short-range wireless communication technology, is very popular in today's mobile devices. As to a communication technology used by phone-based competitive played games, Bluetooth should be the priority by means of it's convenience and low price. With it's first coming into the world, Android, a new developing mobile platform, rapidly seize most of the mobile market at an amazing speed. At the same time, Android has become the most potential mobile platform with the characteristic of open. Therefore, another kind of phone-based games, competitive played via LAN, will lead to another major trend of development of the future phone-based games. This paper aims to study the key technology of design and develop a competitive played game model, based on a wireless local area network built with Bluetooth communication technology. In the specific process of game design and development, a Chinese chess game model is taken as an example.Here are some contents of this thesis:1. proposing the notion of developing Android competitive played games based on Bluetooth;2. introducing the concept "Bluetooth WLAN", and built a Bluetooth WLAN, on which can run Android competitive played games.3. simplifying the game model and it's features, make it efficient to run on an Android platform.4. simplifying the communication data, to reduce the time delayed between the devices as much as possible.
