Research On The Xinjiang Image In CCTV-1’s News Program

Xinjiang image is understanding and evaluation of internal and external public to Xinjiang overall image. Good image help to promote regional economic development, social harmony and stability and to enhance the country’s image. In addition to the formation of Xinjiang image’s influenced factors, but also closely related to the media image of Xinjiang Construction. CCTV-1 has a lot of viewers and have a significant impaction. It spread to Xinjiang image showing that the public attitudes and evaluation to the outer region of Xinjiang.In this paper, CCTV news columns in fourth gear involved in Xinjiang reported as a research object, in the framework of the theory of mimicry environment and stereotype theory,the method of content research and textual analysis of reports theme, genre, tendentious,location, duration, pictures and audio content such as research objective science.Through research, we summed up the Xinjiang spread image of CCTV. However,compared to the image and reality of Xinjiang government reports and statistical reports the Xinjiang government formation, we found that there is a gap between Xinjiang CCTV shaped the image and reality of the image spread. The reason of the problem both with the government departments and the lack of agenda-setting media guide, but also the media reports.In view of this, we proposed: Government focus on optimizing agenda setting,strengthen public opinion guidance; strengthen interactive media, media, public relations conduct; carry out a variety of activities to promote the image of Xinjiang; to guide the public to enhance the image of awareness, consciously safeguard the image of Xinjiang; Xinjiang,objective and comprehensive coverage in order to maintain and improve the image of Xinjiang.
