With the development of computer and microelectronics technology, fields of radar, communications and other systems put forward higher requirements to data acquisition, data acquisition is heading the way of multi-channel, high sampling rate, high-resolution, high-capacity storage and high-speed transferring rate of rapid development.According to the current research status at home and abroad, I design a multi-channel high speed data acquisition based on FPGA which is aimed at some radar imaging project data acquisition system, this system regards FPGA as the core of the controlling and processing part, also it achieves the target of pre-processing and transferring data to the relevant section of AD conversion, at the same time data can be processed, analyzed and displayed on the computer by the way of PCI bus transferring. We can improve the system stability and reduce the equipment size by regarding FPGA chips as the core of the system.This paper presents the design of the high-speed data acquisition system which is divided into hardware and software designing, and it proposes the system design of high-speed data acquisition. Hardware designing includes the selection of each device, principle analysis, design of the peripheral circuit and PCB layout. As the core of this paper, design of software includes the logic design and simulation test in FPGA, and it realizes the functions of data acquisition in the AD module, the communication between PFGA and PC based on C mode with PCI interface, the high-speed serial data transmission based on GTX module. Finally I complete the inter-operability test by building the hardware test platform, and it gives the relevant results which validates the feasibility of the program.This paper centers around AD module, PCI module and GTX module, and this system is with the traits of multi-channel, high sampling rates, high data transferring bandwidth, etc. The research of working which has something to do with this paper provides strong support for the subsequent image processing, also it has a wide range of applications in the fields of high-speed data acquisition system and other system.
