| Archives donation is not only beneficial to improve the national archive’s value and adjust the structure of the archive’s collection, but also conducive to protect archives scattered over the country. A comprehensive understanding of the historical development and the research status of archives donation would help to find the problems in it and find the way to improve it. At present, we still lack of a comprehensive understanding of archives donation and a scientific management system of archives donation. The aim of a thorough research on archives donation is to improve the management of archives donation, to enhance it’s attractiveness to potential donors, to standardize the process of archives donation, also to improve the archives donors’initiative. This paper will research the station of archives donation, the historical development of archives donation and current regulations related to archives donated departure, and then find out the problems of the present archives donation, and put forward the strategy for dealing with the problems from the legal system, the management system, the relationship with donors and the safeguard mechanism. |
